A Behind the Scenes Note from our Spring ‘25 Photo Shoot

Recently our team braved the surprisingly chilly Texas temps for an early morning shoot day to capture the first of our “Spring Soft Launch” collection. These shoots are normally just 1 day in early-ish December, typically shooting around Austin at some of our favorite hidden gems.

Our stylist Megan and shoot coordinator Dominique were loaded up with all of the gear this day!

I don’t think people realize just how much time and energy goes into planning even a day photo shoot. It takes hours and hours and weeks of coordinating each and every look top to bottom - going over every single detail multiple times to make sure we get it right. We want these photos to not only show you the product, but really communicate how the piece is created to be worn and give you a quick idea on how to style.

Our goal is to slowly replace your entire closet with G&L, so our design team builds on looks from prior seasons as they create the new season’s line - blending together colors and giving you fresh new styles to pair with our staples like denim and tees. It’s challenging work but so worth it when we see you posting about how your new favorites work with your older G&L styles!

To kick off the new year, we’re introducing our Valentine’s themed collection. Since so many of us are still recovering from all the holiday parties and on-the-go pace that the end of the year brings, this collection gives you a slow and comfy start. From an adorable graphic tee to a statement-making skirt, these new looks give you plenty of options to celebrate Valentine’s or to just start the year off with something fresh. 

You all have been loving the new pops of color we’ve slowly worked into our last few seasons, so we’re echoing that in some of these new pieces for January.

While muted and neutral colors are still having their moment in the trends, we’re also bringing in colors that reflect the newness of spring. Be on the lookout for that as we begin our 2025 launches!
