Our First Blog Post!

We are so excited to show you the progress of our first two Angel House rescue orphanages in India. We are calling them Halle Houses, after our baby daughter we lost in 2010. When this tragedy struck, we had no idea that her heartbreakingly short life would be able to touch so many people.

The orphanages are being built right now. There is a little over one month left until they are complete and ready to open the doors to ONE HUNDRED orphans. One hundred orphans taken off the street, literally. One hundred children who had futures that were bleak. But now? One hundred beautiful children will get to sleep on beds for the first time. Can you even imagine? They will get three meals a day. They will have a well to supply them with fresh potable drinking water. They will be enrolled in school. They will have new clothes, school supplies and house parents to love them. Try to wrap your mind around the fact that one hundred children now have hope. Hope for a future and a life that simply was not available to them before Halle Houses. With hope, anything will be possible for these children.

The bottom line, one hundred children now have a chance at a much brighter future. Your purchase of our products is making a WORLD of difference in many lives. None of this would have happened without every one of you who have supported our company. Each Grace and Lace item purchased may seem so small, so insignificant, but together anything is possible. One person can change the world. It began with our baby Halle and continues with each of you. Together we are making a difference, one apparel item at a time--one orphan at a time. THANK YOU for your support in Grace and Lace.

Our hearts are so full knowing the loss of our baby girl Halle is touching lives in ways we could never have imagined. Stay tuned with us as we make the journey to India to open the orphanages and meet everyone this summer.

Tears of joy will be flowing!

Rick and Melissa
